Nike Air More Uptempo Black/University Red-White ‘nike uptempo black and red’

The Nike Air More Uptempo has always had playful design opportunities with its oversized “AIR” branding inspired by ‘90s graffiti and pop art. The new Nike Air More Uptempo Black Navy Red is the latest iteration of this exciting line.The base of the upper is perforated suede in black with smooth leather overlays on the toe also in matching black. This dark composition makes the perfect backdrop for the zany “AIR” appliques covering the entire quarter and wrapping around the heel. On the lateral side, the “AIR” appliques are in vivid red with black outlines. The red extends further, coating the black midsole. On the medial side, the “AIR” appliques are in navy with a white border. Similar to the treatment on the lateral side, the blue hue extends onto the midsole. White Swooshes can be seen on the toe box and the midsoles while a jelly-like Swoosh adorns the heel. A tribute to basketball legend Scottie Pippen in black, grey and white can be seen on the heel, right below the grey cord heel pull.
